I'M BACK!

I took a long hiatus from this blog because life, unfortunately got in the way, but I'm back and ready. I've got a new concept, possibly a new design. A whole crap-load of cool stuff coming this blogs way!

Oh, Happy Easter, guys.

Since I've last updated I relocated back to Ohio (who says you can't go home?), I've taken up a new job in a salon, and I've been spending all my time outside of work with great friends. I AM THE MOST INSPIRED I HAVE EVER BEEN. I have been hanging around my friends' bands and venues and from there, my mind has been filled with all kinds of fashion stimulus. If it be from old acts like The Stones or Bowie, or from new ones riding in from NYC, I have got a whole lot of motivation. So hold on tight, this blog is doing some thangs! ;)

Anyways, Easter at my grandmothers this year. My Family is all nuts. But then again, I like them that way. My grandmother has a huge yard filled with little Charlie Brown trees that get no credit. So, if you do one thing with this blog post, give them bad boys some love, they're blossoming nicely. Oh, and holy cow, 'twas windy, so excuse any faces/body language I may be making. It's hard to be graceful in a wind tunnel.

Wait for Wintertime.

I will be doing the exact OPPOSITE, Yeasayer. I have been anxiously awaiting the cold weather that Global Warming has pushed away so that I may wear my layers upon layers upon layers that I look forward to every year, but now that the snow is here, I long for the cropped Ts and mini skirts of yesterday's warm summer sun. Facebook told me an aquaintance saw Robins just the other day and that small bit of sunlight gives me hope that Spring approaches. Until then, enjoy my attempts to not look completely disgusted by the snow (and the fact that it was seeping into my beautiful new boots). Instead, imagine that Charlie Brown tree is blooming, I'm in less clothes (because it's hot out, perv!), more prints, and brighter, bolder colors, and there's a huge smile on my face. COME'ON SPRING!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I couldn't be more excited because this Christmas brought some major changes for this blog. That's right.... MOM AND DAD BOUGHT ME A NEW CAMERA! Goodbye fuzzy iPhone pictures (though I rarely underestimate Apple) and hello beautiful clear photos! I couldn't be happier. It also means that I'll be able to update more as this new baby of mine is going everywhere with me :)

Anyways, I adore Christmas for many reasons, but one of them is dressing up and piling on all the new little goodies Santa brought me :)

Ten minutes to Wapner.

My mother and I hit the casino tonight as a little mother/daughter outing. It was my first time, and although it was nothing like Rainman made me think it would be, I had a lot of fun. Mom and I took the opportunity to find a small hideaway in the hotel lobby to snap some shots.

The legwarmers turned some heads amongst the 65 and over crowd. My mom said I was peacocking. I must peacock every day because if I could, I'd rock these with everything.

I used to dance when I was younger, Jazz, Ballet, everything. Whenever winter rolls around I always think of dance and all I want to wear is dance clothes. Leotards, Leg Warmers, Shrugs, and Tights, OH MY! Here, is some of my inspiration..

The weather here in Louisville is starting to get chilly. Certainly no snow yet, and I couldn't be happier. My fall wardrobe is standing strong. How are you adjusting to the winter weather?
