Found time in my busy schedule to take some pictures. I've gotten quite a few complaints that I have been slacking. Bloggerverse, I apologize. here, this one's for you.

The Hardest Button to Button

I have been the proud owner of these white, striped, nautical shorts for a couple months now and have been struggling to wear them. Today, however, I decided to just do it. The shape (high-waisted and short) is one i love, it's just the color and theme are so hard to accommodate. I, however, will be making it my goal to make these babies oh so wearable.

Nautical Shorts- Forever 21; Suede Top- Just Ginger; Shoes- Steve Madden; Necklace and Studded bag- Vintage; Sunglasses- Target for Men.

The title has more significance than just the plethora of buttons on my shorts. It also represents the excitement I am harboring for (drum roll please!!!) the JACK WHITE SHOW on thursday! EEKKK! still have to figure out what to wear! ahh! 

Anyways, if you're in Ohio, enjoy the ninety degree weather this week. If you're elsewhere, I'm sure it's gorgeous, too! Loving summer!

Thank Heaven for Little Girls.

Got to spend this beautiful Sunshine-y day with my gorgeous niece, Aubrey. She was more than willing to step into a couple shots. She is such a ham.

Tramps like us, Baby, we were born to run.

The weather has been a'changin' and for the better. The sun is up and the sky is blue and all I want to do is lay outside and take in the rays (and as you can see, I NEED to. YIKES). Unfortunately, I have been cooped up in the salon all week, so an adventure in my back yard will have to do.

If you know me, you'll understand why this post is a little funny. I can honestly say I took some inspiration from The Boss. When in doubt, stand in front of an American flag. People can't hate on patriotism. ;) Plus, Bruce can do no wrong. I think we should all try to be a little more like him.

Featured Closet: April

I'm adding a  new addition to this blog every month. I'm planning on doing a feature on someone else's closet. Actually a brief look into their closet based on an outfit and series of questions. Sometimes it will be a celebrity, sometimes it will be someone I/we/your neighbor knows.

This month, I chose my lovely work friend, Corrine. She's very stylish in all the right ways. If I had to describe her use of florals, bright colors, and tough accessories, I would say she was always girly and young but with some edge.

2. Style Icons? Freddie Mercury, Any 70's Rock star, Diva, Granny
3. For Real, though, how many pairs of shoes do you own? 100+. Lots of heels that I only wear occassionally.
4. 3 pieces from your closet that you can't LIVE without? My pleather jacket, blazer, and high waisted shorts
5. What was your inspiration for today's outfit? I pieced it together around the hat because my hair is a WRECK under here.
